2019 Camp Theme: The Wyrd Sisters
Sometimes known as the Norns, Urd, Verdandi, Skuld, the Fates, the Moirae, these weavers of the cords of Is, Was, and Shall Be are found in the sacred stories of various world cultures. We seek their Mysteries.
Intention:
Draw from the Well as we weave;
Nourish and nurture the roots of the Tree.
Enter the Hall and join with the Three
As we gather together to create what Shall Be.
At this intensive in the Texas Hill Country, we step between the worlds to create the sacred space of magical community.
We desire the embodied magic of deconstruction of white supremacy and cultural inequity, activism, scholarship, politics, self-discovery, spellcraft, tool building, local tree and plant magic, new music, strong drumming, storytelling, healing, divination, ritual planning, and intuition. Our visions for this camp include Transformation and Liberation through the magical settings of the World Tree, the Well of Wyrd, the Tingling Roots of the Hall beneath the Tree, and Weaving in Community (fiber arts). We will connect with our Ancestors and deepen our relationships with the Spirits and Ancestors of the Land and the Trees.
Tejas Web is an eclectic ecofeminist Witchcraft community of diverse individuals of many different genders, sexualities, ages, backgrounds, and life paths. Inspired by the Reclaiming Tradition of Witchcraft, we offer public rituals, classes, Regional Dandelion Gatherings, workshops, and weeklong WitchCamps. We are a non-profit religious and educational 501(c)(3) organization.
WitchCamp is a week-long intensive in the Reclaiming Tradition. A week between the worlds creates the opportunity to journey to alternate realms, deepening truth and power in Alliances and seeking wisdom and strength from the Spirits of the Land, the Fae, the Ancestors and the Elemental forces unique to Texas. Tejas Web has previously created 15 camps. We are pleased to offer camp again in our beloved Texas Hill Country. Located on a beautiful ranch of 40 wild acres near Wimberley, the camp venue offers comfortable indoor accommodations, shaded private camping, delicious food, and deep magic and ritual in a community setting. This land has been our home for two camps and three regional Dandelion Gatherings. This mind-altering event is drug- and alcohol-free.
