In this path, we’ll work with the Solarpunk Pentacle that forms a narrative to be more effective in the world and create the futures we desire. The pentacle helps us make choices so we don’t get stuck in dystopia. What tools emerge for justice and resilience? What does it mean to be a Solarpunk Witch?
Solarpunk focuses on mutuality and interconnection, on justice and liberation. Solarpunk is a movement, a vibe, a genre, and so much more. It’s dynamic and evolving and aligns well with our activist, antiracist, anti-ableist, anti-transphobic tradition and Reclaiming’s Principles of Unity.
This is an experiential and somatic path where we’ll run pentacles, walk pentacles, feel their energy in our bodies, and receive their wisdom through trance and aspecting. Take in the breath of knowing and listen to the whispers on the wind. Let the vitalizing force of Air guide you to a deeper understanding of the power in your voice and raise the vibration of your intuition.
Dance in flames blazing with transformative energy. Release the ashes of limitation and ignite the passion of your intentions. Fire is the point of change, where old forms are broken down and new possibilities are forged.
Wade into the fluid waters of transformation and dive deep into the collective unconsciousness where the truths of change and reflection are revealed. Draw upon the unifying power of Water.
Step onto the rich soil of the wild and root yourself in stability and nourishment. Feel the deep pulse of the Earth, the primal presence of root and bone, the ancient stones, all teeming with possibility.
Center and align yourself with Spirit and stir the untamed parts of your soul that long for interconnectedness. Contemplate the foundational elements of your own being, the raw ingredients awaiting refinement.
This is an invitation to engage with the elemental forces within and around you, and to witness the alchemical transformation as it unfolds within.
*Elements is the first of the core courses in the Reclaiming Tradition of Witchcraft and a prerequisite to many others. It is for new and experienced practitioners of magic, and especially those new to the community or at their first Witch Camp.
Alchemy in Ritual Arts with Juniper and Morgana
In this path we will dig into the feral edges of magic to discover and build impactful ritual. Rituals use words, gestures, actions, traditions, and objects to build a community of transformation. Together we will explore foundational practices, experiment with unexpected discoveries, and meld creative fierceness with Elementals, Mystery, and our Divine selves to brew justice.
Participants in the path will plan and priestex two evening rituals.
Prerequisite: Elements of Magic or equivalent
