Tejas Web Witches began gathering in 1994 and many of the same people still join our gatherings, guide our rituals, and mentor in magic. We honor those who sparked inspiration for Tejas Web and have continued the work these many years.
In the autumn of 2024, we will be hosting a Dandelion style camp from Thursday, 10/17 to Sunday 10/20
We gather in the Central Tejas Hill Country amongst the Live Oak, Cedar, and Wild Grasses with space for camping close to the earth or sleeping bunks indoors in lodge style accommodations.
Our Intention: We strengthen our magic in community, as we share and build our skills.
Themes and activities that will be flowing with us through the weekend are:
*Continuing to build relationship with the land and the more than human beings who share space with us at camp
*As above, so below
*Stars and mycelium as reflections of each other
*2-3 hour workshops teaching about and reflecting on magical tools such as potions, spells, and tarot. These teachings and reflections will guide us and inspire our evening rituals.
*Continuing anti-racism and undoing white supremacy discussion, reflection, and action
*Singing, laughing, and connecting with other humans as we navigate these times
Families and children welcome!
There will be some time each day for children to be involved in activities without needing parental supervision. All other times parents will be responsible for their children.
If you are someone who feels inspired to create and hold space for activities for children, please email texaswitchcamp@gmail.com
