Listen to the land, the Ancestors of this land, the Breath and Bone of the
first people of this land.

Speak the names of the first people of the lands where you are making
magic, out loud. Speak to these Ancestors and their descendants.
Honor them with gratitude.
 
We acknowledge the land and those who walked this earth long before
colonizers and missionaries stole, slaughtered, and desecrated. We honor
your connection, your power, your rituals, your descendants who walk this
earth today.
 
What will we offer to the land and the first folks who lived and
loved here?
 
People of the plains, mountains, coasts, forests, rivers, deserts, and
springs.
 
Indigenous Ancestors, we honor your land, a place that we also love and
cherish.
 
May we make amends and reparations for the broken treaties, theft, murder,
and systemic destruction.

May we learn to walk more gently on the Earth and honor the Land and its
peoples.
