Feast Planning Introduction Planning for each of our public rituals is the responsibility of one or more Ritual Coordinators designated by the Ritual Cell. Ritual coordinators are responsible for calling planning meetings, reserving ritual space, facilitating the planning process, and generally making sure that the ritual happens. The actual intention, shape and details of the ritual are created by all those involved in the planning process. Many of our rituals are planned by means of an open consensus process. To receive announcements regarding planning meetings, please sign up for the email list. To help plan or priestess a ritual (men officiants are called 'priestesses' as well in our tradition), we ask that you have attended at least one of our rituals previously, or attended a class, camp, or workshop sponsored by Tejas Web. General Planning Tips Decide on a clear intention and focus for the ritual first. Then decide what kind of working will enact that intention. This will be the TOFU OF THE RITUAL. This sets the stage for the participants having a clear object to raise energy for empowerment. Decide on a song and a form for raising energy (spiral dance, free dancing, ring dance, healing jig, maypole). Decide on deities to sponsor the ritual, based on the intention. Sometimes this comes out in the TOFU. Now figure out everything else. Done! That was easy! Let's do it again!
